Antlers were given examples of inappropriate chants and giving an opportunity show improved level of conduct today.
Game operations reps determined Antlers crossed the line, so they were ejected from arena, and campus police took their information
Reiter said the matter will be turned over to the campus conduct committee, but the group should be allowed back Monday.

Too many technical fouls, team is obviously missing a key piece(Haith).

No some of their conduct brings too much attention to themselves, therefore I'm happy remaining a member of the Zou Crew. (I.E. last year for the Florida game the antlers were dressed in jorts, and I just couldn't do that. Some of the comments they made when Mike Anderson returned to Mizzou Arena last year were to say the least inappropriate)

The chant typically ends with “and die,” but Delaney said the group substituted “and cry” Saturday, but they were still removed shortly after shouting it."
This is what they were ejected for this is innocent behavior for them compared to past behavior

What bullshite. I was at a game standing and cheering once and they told us if we didn't sit down we would be kicked out (the old folks behind us complained). In the second half we jumped up and sure enough got kicked out. They are gonna turn that place into a morgue.

Those are embarrassingly crass and unfunny. Apparently, they do not have anything clever to say anymore and have simply gone the "shock jock" route.
I don't have a problem with the University bringing down the hammer on that garbage.

I like the idea of making Mizzou Arena a hostile environment for opposing teams. I'm all for the students getting rowdy and loud and heckling opponents.
As to that stuff, though, I'm with ya 808. It's unfunny and just plain stupid. Some of it doesn't even make sense but seems to be said just for shock value as you say. I was picturing a recruits mom sitting within earshot listening to some of that and cringed because it wasn't even witty or creative.

I wonder what they said/did... it was probably pretty funny and the University is just being too rigid.

I wonder why it was okay for a rap song about rape to be played as the Antlers were being escorted out.. or why the band played frick You by Cee lo that same night. I guess those are okay. The world is mad.
