Was curious to see who we play and who our opponent plays leading into games.

@UK - @SC, UF
MU - ASU, UConn
Advantage: MIZZOU and not close

SC - @UGA, UCF
MU - UConn, @UK
Advantage: MIZZOU and not close again.

UF - UT, OM
MU - @UK, SC
Advantage: MIZZOU and not very close

@UGA - Bama, @UT
MU - SC, UF
Advantage: MIZZOU a bit closer but not really.

@Vandy - BYE, @SC
MU - UF, @UGA
Advantage: VANDY

MSU - UK, BYE
MU - Vandy, BYE
Advantage: MIZZOU barely

UT - SC, North Texas
MU - MSU BYU
Advantage: TENNESSEE because of that damn BYU game

@Ark - LSU, MSU
MU - BYU, UT
Advantage: MIZZOU easily

The only one with a huge advantage in games leading into games is Vandy. I'll take that.

So the schedule gives us a bit of an advantage with how the games fall. Now for the West opponents:

UF: OM, @LSU - Brutal
UGA: Bama, @Aub - More brutal
UK: Aub, @MSU - Pretty tough
MU: MSU, @Ark - Depends on if Arky is the team that won 2 games or the team that lost 6.
SC: LSU, @A&M - Pretty damn tough
UT: Arky, @Bama - Tougher than Mizzou's no doubt
Vandy: A&M, @OM - Not sure it matters where it falls.

With what they lost, I'm not sure if we didn't draw the easiest home game against west teams. Dak will be good, but not sure what else they'll bring. I suspect the only other teams I'd rather have are maybe A&M or Arky and I'm not so sure of that.

As for away games, I really don't know what to expect of Arky. Something tells me they improve but they're not all that a lot of pundits claim them to be. Besides...would our chances be better @Bama or @Aub or @LSU or @OM?

I think the schedule again does us a favor with the west match ups. Not just with the games we have but the brutal draw UGA has.

I like it. I still have an uneasy feeling about the season, but the schedule certainly breaks our way at several levels. Nice work, Reedus.

Yes sir, nice work Reedus.

Mizzou better be ready for Kentucky this year. They will be improved. Conference road game in rehabbed stadium with road streak on the line. 4th game of year...last year's 4th game was frickin' Indy. You have now been warned.

Like the breakdown. I guess the flip side of this is that Kentucky will have a better gauge of their team due to better competition. I would be very cautious if they are coming off a win against Florida. From a talent perspective we are a better team but that confidence and schedule against tougher competition could be one of those "trap" situations for us.

I think our biggest trap of the year is BYU. I'm afraid they'll look at is as an OOC breather in between big conference games because they'll all be big conference games at that point. The good news is, an OOC loss doesn't hurt us like a conference loss so in that sense I guess UK could be the bigger trap game.
