Odom has told recruits that he's switching to a 3-4 base. I wonder if this has something to do with Kul leaving.

May be a factor to it but I think he's been wanting to go to a 3-4 since getting the job.

Exactly, maybe he wants someone that is more of a 3-4 guy.

I see what you're saying and can't disagree. Hate losing Kul but it is what it is.

Interesting. We have the personnel to do it but we probably need another NT if we are going to switch fully next year.

I don't think he will be exclusively 3-4. He likes to be multiple and show defenses lots of looks. So expect to see a much more varied defense with Odom in charge.

Yeah. Anymore it's an exercise in semantics, 4-3 v 3-4.

I do hope they don't abandon the #DLineZoo thing. It's been a helluva drawing card for the program.

Thank goodness we have a big boy like Augusta already in the fold to man the middle. I hate it when 3-4 guys come to a 4-3 team and just start running the 3-4 no matter what, even when they don't have a true 3-4 nose guard.
