The kid couldn't play and didn't he transfer once or twice more and wasn't good enough to play there? I remember when Jeff Gordon and his conrads over on 550 AM were critical of Mizzou when they took the redshirt off Corby Jones(they said that he got to start was because his dad was a coach on the team) and started him over John McArthur who was rated the #1 qb in the country according to the St. Louis based Sporting News. He transfered to Northwestern and never was heard from again. He was their 4th string qb.

Couldn't play is an over statement. Couldn't play at this level? I'd agree with that. As I said, as many parents do, his probably thought more of him than he actually was.
Yepp, he went to Louisville for a day. Had his watch, wallet and some stuff stolen on day one from the locker room and left. Went to UCF and backed up Bortles. Think he's an agent of some sort now.
My question, and not just as it's related to him, but I never understood when coaches say there is a QB competition and then one QB plays behind the #1's on the OL and throws to the #1's at WR with the #1 RB taking some pressure off playing against backups and #2's on defense. On the other side, another guy plays behind the backup OLinemen who are fending off the #1 Dline, throwing to the scrub WR's who are covered by your best cover guys with backup RB's losing yardage every time they're given the ball. It seems they should get equal playing time with both.

Ah. It looks like he has an offer on 247 and rivals but they've been known to be wrong.

It's not really that they are wrong, it's just not all offers are equal. Alabama has offered, they also wouldn't accept a commitment from Foster. At least not today.

Glad he didn't wait until June.
Besides wins (maybe almost equal to wins) I think convincing out of state dudes with big talent and offers to come to Missouri is the best way to keep the 10.

That's a huge get for Odom. Beat out some big time programs for him. Lots of credit to Heupel on this one.

I wonder how the visit went. His recruiting pages suck, but thats mostly due to the fact as noted it seemed he was juco bound from the start. besides, committed to bama? say no more fam.
