I personally like Sandy Ego and that one dude who turned into a Tennessee fan. Got to have some villains on this board. Spices it up

Made the top 5 for this LB in Alabama. 5 SEC offers. Plays in Class 6A.

Antar Thompson at spring practice.

Has really pulled a lot of difficult threads together in his life and landed some real offers recently, including Alabama.

He went to Highland Community college in Illinois. I'm guessing they have some interest if he was at spring practice. He was a great player 4* player in High school but grades were terrible. Would be a great addition if we can get him.

Highland is in Kansas. It's about 30 minutes west of St Joe.

Thompson was a Mizzou commit originally right?

He was at least a commit, I think he even signed here.

I don't think we've offered yet this time around.

He needed a couple years to grind at life because he had a kid to support.

Irony, well not really irony but more of I warned you of the impending FB recruiting disappointments. It would appear that the namesake commitment of this Topic Thread (Ballard) may be sniffing around other options. Not that he would be a great loss (although a need at WR) it is just indicia for the need to put your FB nut cup on now and keep it on. Dont get lulled into a false sense of safety or lost in the euphoria of the BB revival. Be safe now everybody.

Why don't you try a source, or at least some semi specific information?

We don't troll the recruiting threads. That's not how it works.

No one really wants to hear it anyway. I think every team has at least 1 or 2 decommits in football a year anyway.

Oh and I bet you aren't man enough to tweet that shite about Ballard.

Reedus, i'm not sure about that one. While the family was thrilled with Blaine's relationship, they expected Tyler would just be handed the QB job. When he left, the family had some resentment. Maybe Odom can mend fences but another Gabbert is no sure thing.

Brett is a lot shorter than his brothers, but being at CBC instead of perennial doormat Parkway West is probably going to help him learning the position.

Blaine got all the height. Wasn't the other Gabbert 6'0" ?

Oh I know. I found it amusing with these crystal balls and how little they know. My son is actually fairly good friends with him through baseball. For whatever it's worth, they didn't just want the reins handed to him. They just didn't feel he was given an equal opportunity in the spring based on who he was throwing to and against when compared to Franklin. Having said that I still don't like how they handled it and probably over inflated his abilities
