CBC's wr Cameron Brown who committed to Nebraska. I wonder if he will honor his commit to Nebraska.

Not going to worry about him. Seems he is over-rated and we really did not want him or need him anyway. What do the Buckeyes know about real talent evaluation? We need to focus on the 3* and below diamonds in the rough cause that is what will make the difference in the long run and evidently the best we can hope for, deserve or expect.

This is why I think that Mizzou needs defensive end Ronnie Perkins:

The NCAA should make some sort of rule on verbal commitments. Make it to where a kid can't publicly commit to a school until their senior football season is done. I understand it is a lot of pressure and tough to decide. But why commit in May just to decommit in June? It doesn't "hold your spot" because even if you commit the school can pull your offer. It does nothing for anyone except make fans happy when you commit and then annoy them when you change your mind.

It's not the kid's fault when random adults on the internet allow themselves to get emotionally involved in the decision making process of a complete stranger.

I think it would not be a stretch to connect the dots and go ahead & say Brown & Babb (Killer B's) will both take their talents to THE OSU. Regardless, BO was not going to pull Babb notwithstanding.

And then there was this.

Here is a player from South Houston I would like to see Cross pull in.

He has played OLB the last two years in a 3-4 but is reportedly moving inside for his Sr year. I don't think he has the length to play on the edge but he can fill the A gap. He was Dist 20-6A MVP as a Jr and was All district as a Soph.

He said that his visit to Ohio St. had nothing to do with his decommit. Yea, right!

I noticed that the wr, db that committed from the KC area has been getting a lot of praise thrown his way and Brown hasn't and he probably doesn't like that. If he doesn't end up at Ohio St. he might be thinking Mizzou, now. I personally wanted Goodrich more at the Zou.

The timing of this certainly suggests the old recruiting ambassador pitch from Urban.

And just a few hours later Gabe makes it sound like Bailey will be visiting soon.

I'd like to see them take a couple of players at MLB. Losing Tobias Little to Louisville and Trey Baldwin not panning out killed the projected depth.

Not sure who recruits Austin but Cameron Wilkins is another LB out of Texas that looks solid. Dist. 14-6A 1st team LB and 2nd team RB.

You're quoting yourself now? You're entitled to your opinion like everyone else but please stop cluttering up the recruiting board with the same rant every other day.

The follow up reiteration was appropriate and called for based on new subsequent comments, Ergo relevant.

You really are pathetic. There is no way you're a Mizzou fan

You have it twisted. I have been a devout fan and follower of all things MU athletics for over 40 years as well as an alum and booster. What you are perceiving in actuality is a very passionate and caring fan who believes in MU but has become frustrated with the accepting attitudes from those who you may believe to be true fans. Those spouting sunshine but who are actually preaching acceptance of mediocrity or worse. Basically saying "stay in our lane" because it is the best our University can do and get use to being passed by and over.

Well my passion and fandom does not roll that way. I know and believe we can and should do better and to accept less than, simply does not jive with my own opinion of what an invested fan should do or be.

So call me a mad fan and you would be a little more accurate if that works for you.

Losing a player like AT only hurts if the player Mizzou does get at DT is worse than AT.

If Mizzou lands high school recruits like Trout, Perkins, Thompson or other similarly rated players it's ok. If not then AT is a big miss.

You're "new" here. So constrain your comments in the recruiting thread to recruiting information. If you'd like to editorialize, start a thread that no one will respond to. Or keep commenting here. The faster you get banned from this board, the better off we'll be.
