Taylor told PM that Mizzou has stuck with him through his tough time going to JUCO so he's going to stick with us. Very good news. PM did report another recruit said he and his family are monitoring the situation and will decide by the weekend what to do. If we hear nothing then that is good news as he's staying. Coaches are putting in a lot of hours and work to keep the class together.

Ballard got the ACT score he needed from what he tweeted. Sounds like the Mizzou offer could be coming soon. Him and Alton were talking about it.

Tre Williams, Strong, And Albert O all said they have no plans to decommits and are 100% to Mizzou. Good news as it sounds like the class will stick together.

I think people are missing the boat on how this whole thing is playing out with recruits.
Just reading this thread, Mizzou hasn't lost one recruit and several have expressed more love and loyalty to Pinkel and the Mizzou "family", with several expressing the events proved it wasn't just words with GP.
And I also have yet to hear one former AA Mizzou player express anything complete support for the stance Pinkel took: Kellen Winslow, EJ Gaines, Wes Kemp, L'Danian Washington just from listening to the radio during the day.
So while most here view Pinkel's stance and actions as weak or self-preserving (myself included) - it seems to be playing quite differently within several demographics of the African American community.

I might be the only person on here that thinks kids(black) that Mizzou are currently recruiting might be impressed with Pinkel, because he stuck by his players. Even though the lil weasel might be trying to weasel out right now.

can't blame the kid. he just got an offer from the number one team in the country, three hours from his house and we are looking for a coach.

Someone needs to get on a plane and go see this kid. Let him know that not everything he hears is going on. Or he needs to just take a visit and see for himself. Then again, maybe he was wishywashy anyways and he was looking for and easy way out.
