His is all grades, he's working on them, and if he gets the right scores we will offer, otherwise he's JUCO bound.

No offer yet, but looks we are thinking about it.
Sounds like a MizzouMade type, too.

Anyone seen this guy play?
Not in person. While not the same type of player, he is essentially the next TBJ to come from the east side. The staff has been all over him.
I know many see Iowa as a threat because of his dad. I just don't see him going there. Much like Tatum passed up SLU.

While Epenesa is amazing, I don't feel like we are leading with him. Pinkel has been putting in overtime on this kid but I feel like ucla(has a cousin there) and iowa(dad went there) are the leaders on this one.
man i hope i'm wrong. he is special. i don't HCGP has a great track record with Edwardsville though.

Yeah, I don't know that Mizzou is in his leaders, I just don't see him going to Iowa and becoming irrelevant until drafted.
GP didn't have a good track record anywhere on the east side. I think he's making in roads there for sure though. We just gotta break through now
Speaking of east side...any word on the season the Thomas kid is having at ESL? Or where we stand there? I have no idea who is among his leaders as I haven't looked for it in forever but I just get a feel that he ends up at an FSU or USC or some type of school like that.

He is also planning on graduating in December, & enrolling in January here. LBs seem to be deep now.

My sources tell me Thomas' grades are of issue and they are working on things now. I think Mizzou might be his leader but he may have a few more academic challenges than Beckner. I see him in Tiger stripes in the future but Hinds might be the first stop.

Albert Okwuegbunam committed before the game today. He was our top target at TE.

That's awesome. I've been hoping for that. More in roads into big 10 country too. Also the reason we didn't push on scales

Is there a link to the commitment?

Reported on PM and Otterbaucher tweeted it out.

Going to be entertaining to listen to a lot of announcers try to pronounce his name.

I hope he's as good as his name makes him sound.
We need someone besides stonehands culkin out there..

Needed a TE and his tape looks dynamic. Beat out MSU, WVU, Nubs, Iowa, Minn... Impressive get!

according to pm 2016 commit tucker mccann hit a 52 yard kick. he was hitting 60-65 in warmups.
can't wait to see him next year. along with fatony's punting, we should be good in that dept for a few years.
now i understand why we broke from the tradition of no schollys for punters and kickers.

It's one facet where a school like Missouri can gain a game-changing edge on their division rivals.
Watching the chasm drop-off from Marcus Murphy to what we have now, I wouldn't be opposed to offering a truly elite return specialist a scholarship and then trying to coach him up as a DB, WR or RB.
