Eh. Looked like a 4* maybe. 24/7 had her at a high 3*.

Ratings are dependent on viewers age I'd say

Pipkins added Kansas and Mizzou to the list of schools he's thinking about transferring to.

I missed that. Just seems to be such a weird recruiting cycle.

I'm guessing we stopped recruiting him all together or close to it.

Really not a huge need at RB despite our current depth issues. At least if everyone gets healthy and Strong makes it next year from JUCO as expected. And if they think they're in solid with the Taylor kid, there really is no need for a 3rd RB in this class.

Abbington
Steward
Witter
Walters
Williams
Doherty
Strong

This isn't necessarily a complaint as much as it's an observation.

I like that we're making strides in the southeast, but I think this is exactly how Missouri high school coaches turn on a in-state university. Passing on quality locals for the same level or even inferior player from somewhere else.

Just an opinion, but I think we may be offering and taking too many kids just for the sake of building a relationship. That's understandable to do from time to time, but I think we've done it too much in the last couple years.

All that said, I'm not sure I even wanted Bryant anyway.

I'm not sure we can count on Abbington ever making it. Read on another forum that he was here last week working with the team when it was determined he was still short an English credit. He was sent back to Hutch to take a July class and wouldn't join the team until August 25, if he makes it.

Abbignton is such a strange case.

Kid looks decent enough. and has a huge passion for Mizzou.

It doesn't add up. I don't get how he could be screwing this up so bad.

Kid is a joke at this point. Hope he redeems himself.

Regarding RB, what was looking like a spot where we took too many players is quickly looking like another spot we may be thin.

RH is solid as hell.
Witter, I'm not big on.
Abbington, not here may never be.
Steward- Out, who knows if he'll ever play.
Walters- Out
Williams- True FR maybe not physically ready
Doherty- True FR maybe not physically ready
Strong- year away at the very least.

Really doesn't look that great if Abbington doesn't make it and Steward can't play. RH Is going to have to be a feature back, and while he's good...he's not that big and may not be able to handle that many carries

I know he is not likely to but I wish Zanders would consider playing a little RB. The guy is such a great athlete. A little taller than most RB's at 6'1 but I think he could be a great back if he were sharing the workload with someone.

Maybe i'm in the minority but I think ya'll will look back and wish we pursued Bryant harder. Kid just has it, he's underrated by the services. His tape is nice against the best opponents in the state, and his SPARQ rating is that of a 5 star, don't see why it would've been so bad to at least try to swing him, but it did seem like the coaching staff wasn't too worried

It's disappointing some of these guys don't take classes more seriously.

Abbington's high school is less than a mile from me (Fort Zumwalt West). The word on him was super talented but not into the books at all. I had hoped the JUCO route would help him mature academically, but I guess it did not. I'm concerned and starting to lose hope.

Dang...we need Steward. I guess we will find out soon now that it is July.

He flails his arms oddly when he runs.

Idk.

Looking for a reason we don't like him.

Would think with so much on the line he or his parents would make classes a priority at some point.Maybe a lot has changed over the years, but I wouldn't think it would be that difficult to get decent grades in high school. At least it wasn't for me.Good grief.

I haven't heard anything on him in a long time.He may never play again.Really, really, really hope Hansbrough doesn't get hurt this year or some guys who probably aren't ready are going to be pressed to carry the load.
