I don't know about Flip. Probably more of a natural scorer than Flip. Flip was a great interior passer.
I would think a Dixon type in his ball handling and scoring ability.

Watson would fill a big need Mizzou has had for a couple of years. A go to scorer. A combo of Watson, Hughes, & Roberts could be a good scoring backcourt.

Correct, and I think he knows and understands this. He's also the type to want to stay home.
The one thing people are forgetting, mizzou basketball doesnt need to be "good this year, they just need to show some type of improvement to gain momentum. even winning games at home, but losing road games would be fine.

It's a bigger issue him committing to SLU than Kansas. Other than Gordon and Porter Mizzou hasn't really recruited against Kansas for any recruits in a long time.
But Mizzou will probably be recruiting directly against SLU a bunch in the near future. If they get Watson to go with those 2 that's a good core.

More to it then that. He legitimately had an interest in Mizzou. He really wanted to stay close to home. His HS coach is a HUGE mizzou sports fan.
At the end of the day, SLU had something's Mizzou doesnt. His GF plays soccer for SLU. His friend Goodwin, is going to SLU.

And right now, SLU is a better program and Ford is a better coach and Ford is a better recruiter. There's probably even more reasons but I'll just leave it at it's more of the same for KA and Mizzou.
