Visit for Mitchell Smith a 6'9" PF.

Weekend of September 19th. Looks to be Abigail weekend. Willie Jackson also visits that weekend. Expect to see a couple others visit that weekend as well.

Good to hear about Woods. Need all the help inside that we can get.

As for a big weekend, hope it works out.

KSDK article on Jordan Godwin from Althoff (Just past ESL) visiting Mizzou. Will be a junior and I guess is blowing up, though that may be an exaggeration, dunno.

Goodwin averaged 20 per game as a sophomore last year.

Definitely sounds like he is talented. The 2017 class seems to be deep in the area.

I would be surprised if we took anyone before Cook decides especially since these guys are at his same position. I would like to see some higher rated guys coming in, it kind of seems like we're moving down our list but I could be wrong there.

It sure seems that way doesn't it? If we don't get Cook or Sneed then there was no point in hiring Tate other than more nostalgic "True Son" thinking. KA needs to get off to a hot start this year or I don't see how he'll be able to recover. We'll keep taking midmajor 3* kids and fade into mediocrity I guess.

STL has a lot of talent in the coming years. If Mizzou misses on Cook & Sneed, but starts getting kids in the 2017 class and beyond then Tate will have been a solid addition for recruiting.

Another consideration is that starting with the 2016 class the NCAA has changed the eligibility requirements coming out of High School presumably that means that there will be more kids going to JUCO than now.
Perhaps that will help this staff as they already have been heavily recruiting the JUCO ranks.

ABSOLUTELY NO REASON (and I get mad at SLU too) WHY THERE'S NO PIPELINE WITH EAGLES AND JETS. The Jets have not 1 but 2 five* and eagles every year are flooded with four*.

I know you're a big KA supporter, but I really hope this problem will have worked itself out by 2017.

Not really a KA supporter, I haven't really made a judgement on him. I think it's too early. Took him 3-4 years to breakthrough at CMSU, then he made the final 4 in 4 of his final 8 years there.

I would be ok with that. STL kids have a long history of not being interested in Mizzou, so I wasn't expecting that to change immediately.

I think Cook sounds like a kid who cares about his decision and wants to take all of his visits. I also think he'll put his favorites MU and Iowa at the end of his visits. If I were his age I'd be sure to take free trips to college campuses in the middle of football season. Sounds like something I spend a lot of money on as an adult...

I don't understand why a kid wouldn't take all 5 OVs. On those visits kids get the royalty treatment. It's a treatment that most will never get again.
