How 'gay' can people really be?
Rizzo just hits a two run hr, frickboy in a Cardinal jersey catches the ball, smiling, high-fiving friends.
I don't get it.
You don't have to hate the word when another team scores runs, but I just find that type of reaction weird.
-------
Anybody else feeling a one game playoff w cubs?
-------
Back to the Future predicted 911, not in subtle ways, but with a ton of ridiculously obvious hints.
It also said cubs win the world series.
I put money on the cubs 2 months ago.
You might want to too.

Big City with a bomb, bomb. 12 rows from leaving the ball park.
If he can be that guy and not the guy trying to hit it to left...finally we have a 1B

I'd like to see Piscotty move there when Holliday returns.I'm done with Moss and Reynolds.

Cardinals have to re-sign heyward. 20 stolen bases (ish) 12 homers... Close to .300 average and 5 star defense...it may take 22 to 25 million. So what.

Fine, as long as we get rid of Jay.
He's run his course, and there are better options.

Been a nice turn around for him.And to think many could not stand him early in the season. Will be interesting to see what kind of offers he pulls in after the season.
That was one hard fought win tonight.Holliday and Grichuk can't come back fast enough.

Bourjos's and Kozma's time is up too.

Most definitely. I have no idea why Kozma is on the roster with Garcia available as a much better option.
Bourjos just never fit here, and he looks funny when he runs.

Anyone else see the Cubs celebration for finishing 3rd in the division?

Martinez out for season.

What exactly was the injury? Shoulder what?
That should make "temper tantrum if I'm not a post-season starter" Lance Lynn happy.
Posted on 9/26/15 at 4:26 pm to Mizz-SEC
Haven't heard. Just no surgery supposedly. Strain is all I'm hearing.

At least he doesn't need surgery.Holliday looking good tonight. Will be interesting if Wainwright becomes a factor in bullpen.

Piscotty done for a while..
was afraid his neck might be broke for a few minutes.

No broken bones apparently.
That was scary as frick, thought for sure he broke his neck too.

I'm hoping 7 day DL per MLB protocol and ready to go for the playoffs which don't start for 11 days. If he sits out game 1 then he has 13 days to recover.

Yeah, that was a vicious collision. That fact his legs were motionless worried the shite out of me. Not to mention the fact that Bourjos was already waving for medical staff before he even got up from making the catch. Scary stuff...

Glad to see the Cards pull that one out. It wasn't pretty (as usual when Lynn pitches) but Lynn stepped up last night.
Hopefully Wacha steps it up tonight and gets out of his funk. The good news is that Morton hasn't beaten the Cards since 2011.
Good to hear Piscotty is ok and I hope he recovers in time for the post season.
