I'd like to see us play arkansas at arrowhead. That would slap the beakers in the face. Play a couple preseason basketball games at sprint too.

That would be cool. I've always been one that likes the idea of playing Nebraska there every year.

This could all happen. And remember, Alden proposed a tournament hosted by Mizzou to be played annually in Kansas City. I still think this could happen down the road.

The SEC and big 12 have a basketball arrangement now, don't they? Maybe some if those could be played in KC.

We can't play you guys at Arrowhead any time soon. We have our game with A&M moving back to Jerry World in '14 for at least the following 10 years. Between that game in Dallas and 1-2 in Little Rock each season, we won't be able to lost another potential home game each season. It would be cool though if they did something like that after the A&M series ends.

In Sept of 2012 I bought a couple fancy-azz beers to celebrate important wins in any sport within our new SEC home. To make a long story short, I still have those two bottles in the "beer crisper". It's been rough.

Cheers to 2013-2014 is a better year.

Very happy to have moved to the premier conference in all the land and not the Big Bevo league. Here's to another year of SEC athletics!

I'm sure it's a mixed bag. Some traditionalists will hate any and all expansion. Some will like the increased money. Some will be intrigued to see how we respond.

I mean they had to expand when they took aTm so although even though "traditionalists" might not have wanted to expand they had to.

I for one welcomed it. My parents live in Columbia and I have advocated this move during some heated discussions at the Tiger Barbershop for years. Columbia is a great little town and Mizzou is a class university. I couldn't imagine a better addition to our conference. Bienvenu!!!

I rely on my father and this board for all of the Mizzou sports news as I am usually occupied with following LSU (my home state team) and Vandy (my alma mater). I'm heading back to Columbia for a few weeks in October, so I'm hoping to see the stadium renovations and catch a few home games. Hopefully, I'll meet up with a few of you then for some pints and SEC talk.

Welcome! I enjoy getting different fans perspectives, as long as the trolls stay on the rant. Cali has always seemed like a good guy. And like him, I thought this move would be a good idea long before anyone thought it was a possibility.
