So what if they sold or gifted the left field lounge area to the Bulldog Club...not exactly sure, but isn't it a private entity? I believe that's how LSU got around such a rule and started selling alcohol in their stadium club at Tiger Stadium, through the Tiger Athletic Foundation.

Like Slope said, there's a big-arse light pole right in front of the Kappa Sig trailer. I never saw a double play turned in my 5 years at state
The reno has the light poles on top of the LF lofts

That is the long term question.
If a corporate partner becomes a sponsor they sell it at greatly inflated rates even tho they do not sell it per se.
Corporate box may be 100K per year and a "stocking" fee on top for the drinks and food at 4 x retail cost. May not happen in the short term, but who knows in the long run.

quote:Who knows what happens long term. That's a crap shoot. All I know is there are too many obstacles to overcome to do this in the short term. Who would have thought the college board would approve conceal carry for those holding enhanced permits in public places on college campuses? They did that this week and are allowing the individual schools decide if they want to allow guns everywhere.

Just to clarify, short term is a season or two, long term may mean 10 to 20 years or just a mere 5 years. The money in the past few years is speeding up the rate of change drastically. Old ways are being supplanted by money quicker in the younger set. Security has gotten much more invasive at several SEC venues in just the past 3 to 6 months. If we are really worried about ISIS in Oxford then the US is already done. The "added" security tho does make it easier to transition "purse and flask" booze for Ole Miss corporate booze.
I really hope I am wrong here, but probably not.

God that thing is so fricking sexy.
Also, I just noticed that our bullpen looks to be fenced off, while the visitors have to warm up Wrigley style on the field. First time I have realized that.

It does look awesome, but what is the "ms" circle in the right field corner?

Just an entry plaza I think. This picture shows steps, while the other one kind of looked like bleachers.

It's their annual "we check for booze" email to show the SEC they "care"
