Nissan
Toyota
Eurocopter
Yokohama
Aurora
Servrcor (or whatever the F it is called)
Just to name a few.
The reason these places work: They pay marginally more than the common / local "plant" does. Nobody is gonna clean up their act and start acting "professional" for construction pay. Lots of local plants do a cost of living survey and pay mississippians half of what they pay in other states to produce the same product. Employers are realizing they too are getting what they pay for. I understand the competitive market and that personnel are your most expensive asset but higher skilled technical / assembly jobs are on the uptick in Mississippi.

There is no "one size fits all" manufacturing solution these days. If you have high labor costs, the US loses. If you have high energy costs, the US wins.
As I mentioned earlier there are opportunities to move some manufacturing back to the US, but it is very complicated even in the best of circumstances.
I would tell you my strategy for moving plants, but then I would have to kill you.

If you look up Dan Bilzerian's instagram feed, this is how I imagine Allyn lives his life in Cali.

He looks to be doing a lot of stuff with half-naked strippers. My SoCal life is (was) different. It was with half-naked models and actresses. That's a different thing altogether.

Damn, what's up your weather?
I was talking with the office back in Tupelo, and someone said that they would rather be in Palo Alto. I told them that they wouldn't like it because it is too cold. High today is 62. They said it is 58 in Tupelo.
WTF? 58 in the mid-afternoon in late May???

It's been hot and humid. These storms going through this afternoon/evening are bringing in a cold front.

Well, I got hot and humid last night. It took me about 2 weeks to find the craziest woman in all of Silicon Valley. It's a good story, but I only have time for a summary.
- I won't name names, but she is a mid-level exec that works for big company that uses a piece of fruit for its logo.
- I picked her up at 7. She wasn't off of her phone for more than 5 minutes until I dropped her off.
- When she wasn't on her phone, all she wanted to talk about was red wine. I truly hate wine snobs.
- During dinner I was wondering if it would be OK to go to the bathroom and then sneak out the back door.
- After dinner, she tells me that she is having a good time, and she calls her 14-year-old daughter and tells her that she will be back late or maybe she will stay out all night depending on how things go.
- I take her home immediately, and she starts in on me.
A) I am intimidated by powerful women.
B) I am intimidated by women that are in charge of their sexuality.
C) I am intimidated by a woman that wants to frick like a man, i.e., when she feels like it.
I am doing my best to maintain my composure. All she wants to do is bait me into an argument. I am not buying.
Since I dropped her off, she has sent me 32 texts. Half are insults. Half are stupid shite like, "You would like me if you were banging me from behind right now."
Sheesh. Drop it. You've been dumped.

That's terrible. She's probably screwed her way to that mid-level job.

Is this about pegging?

Nothing like a crazy chick scorned. I see how you roll now.

I really don't know. We never discussed anything of substance.

Hardy_Har would have thrown her to the curb for you.*

If I had taken that crazy chick home, she would have shown up the next day with a suitcase. Twenty years ago I would have made that mistake.
