Roommates with a guy who went to high school and is good friends with Nichols. He's visited State multiple times just for fun and has a lot of friends here. Howland has already contacted him so I'd say things look very positive.

I think the tight end is a dead position in basketball. In the old days, these were the guys that showed up after football season was over to be the "bruiser" on the basketball team. If someone was killing you on the inside, you sent the bruiser in to teach him that he needs to back away from the basket a bit.
