Thompson's development is now priority #1 behind getting Fitz ready each week. Good luck to Tiano but I can't say I'm disappointed.

Yeah I guess that would be ok, but without even thinking about who else we go after I love this move.

So that leaves us with the kid from EMCC as the backup for the bowl, or is Williams there for the bowl game?

Wow, so now we've gone from having a stable of QB's in spring to just fitz and an incoming Keytoan?

Williams and Tiano will both stick around for the bowl game as of right now

Have to admit I find it a little concerning. I'm cautiously optimistic about Fitz, but the fact is he had monster games against 4 of the worst SEC defenses I can remember. On the bright side, I'm not sure we'll see much improvement in those defenses across the board next year.

Yeah but with a running QB, you're dangerously closer to being one play away from an injury than a pro style. That's my only concern.

So there's a good chance Keytoan won't even redshirt?

Your backup QB who was competing for playing time isn't "fat". This blows major donkey dicks. Don't believe me? Ask Ole Miss, we are now in the same position they were this season, except Pellerin was actually on scholarship and Roberts isn't.

Thompson will redshirt. It will be a situation like Kelly and Patterson this year. We will pick up another QB in this class and he and Wyatt will battle it out for the backup spot unless something happens to Fitz, then you contemplate burning Thompson's redshirt

We'll be fine. Dan will get another Damian Williams to backup Fitz and then Thompson will take over.

I'm not ok with being in the situation Ole Miss was this year. Especially considering we know know how Fitz responds this offseason.

I think State will target a juco after Thompson gets on campus

While this is true, I also wouldn't be surprised if Fitz never got injured. If anybody can do it it's him. Wool OFF [ON]
