I know the Bulldog Club had to raise a matching price of 20 million. I haven't heard how close we are, but I'd imagine at least a year or two away.

I had heard it was already met at the time of proposal?

They're still working on raising the money but it should be good to go by the end of this season. I was told by someone in the AD that construction on the outfield part would begin after this season and then after the 2017 season they will do the grand stands.
Kind of odd I figured they would do grand stands first

Yea, I was hoping we could get one more year of the original LFL with brand new grand stands. That would be pretty cool.
As much as I love this new stadium and upgrades I am going to miss the original LFL and all of it's redneck glory. Really glad I snuck in my 4 years of undergrad with the lounge I will never forget that 9th inning rally against Ole Miss on SBW. I sat on the edge of our rig with a cooler right beside me the whole game. great times out there
