-Milton's fumble early on killed us. Instead of us driving to make it 10-6, 14-6 we fumble and LSU goes up 13-7.

-Defense looks awful. Just awful, way too many mental mistakes. Whitley is playing like an idiot back there. Third straight week of 30+ being put up, uncceptable. Luckily we have an Arky team who has quit up next then we have a test in Oxford.

-Offense looks good, but like the last two weeks we had drives killed with turnovers, flags, or drops. Really can't afford that against these teams.

our playcalling was a little better tonight. defense is NOT making adjustments at half.

Our players showed up tonight but playcalling was awful for the most part. QB sneak on 3rd and 4? We also never gave Prescott a chance in situations where he usually shines.

D-line needs to step up. Mettenberger had all day to not be Mettenberger.

Also Cam Lawrence could not be more obvious when pointing at the other linebackers and telling them where to go. I saw on a few occasions he told one of them to blitz and then Mettenburger just made an easy screen where the coverage should have been.

The score didn't show it but I thought we played much better tonight than we did against Bama and TAMU.
The LSU touchdown at the end of the first half was a deal breaker.
I like our chances in these last 2 games. Ole Miss will be tough though.

We hung with LSU more than the score indicates. Overall, I am pleased after wanting to transfer colleges after the last two weeks.

Linebackers are awful. Need to keep Wilson for recruiting and D-line, but bring in two new coordinators as well as a real special teams coach. Still don't like Tyler eyeing people down so much. I see us finishing the regular season 7-5 or 9-3, nothing in between

That wasn't a playcall. Russell checked into that at the line of scrimmage. He got baited by LSU because they showed the same look from when he scrambled for 15 yards earlier in the game, but jumped out of it just before the snap. Great job by LSU on that one. Either way, that particular call was not on our coaches...

At the end of the first half LSU went 71 yards in 35 seconds to score in like 3 or 4 plays. Putrid!

I'm sad.

Stupid fricking fumble.
TD drive before halftime.
Pick 6.

I really don't think we played bad save for a handful of bad plays, and that's what bums me out.

Defensive play calling killed us tonight. As it has the past few weeks. Lack of adjustments and bad gameplanning. Mullen talks about the coaches not putting players in a position to win and succeed and Wilson is giving us a great example of not doing it right. I seriously hope Wilson is either demoted or gone at the end of the season. We deserve better.

This is true.

The game was much closer than the score, especially when you look at the team stats.

I don't think any team has racked up that many yards against LSU's defense this year, at least in the passing game.

I was at the game and I can tell you State's QB impressed me all night.

That kid is tough as nails and showed great poise.

State's pass protection was also exceptional for most of the game.

It was a very good game grinders.

Significantly better, played well with exception of a few hiccups but didn't convert. A lot of the credit goes to LSU's redzone defense, you can't give up that many points to them and hope to win. The communication on defense was terrible, several plays we got smoked because Wells or Broomfield missed coverage.
