I've heard from multiple people that Tiano has become the front runner for the job this fall.

If he gets the nod and just starts tearing up the SEC I will never doubt Mullen again

Really though, I keep hearing/reading that it's between him and Fitz. I'm sure he's behind Fitz in terms of learning the system and all but they guy is Mullen's prototypical QB.

Well my reaction would be either Tiano is a really fast learner or Fitz and Staley are not progressing well at all. Fitz just has such a head start on everyone I have a hard time believing that he is not #1.

The negatives iv'e heard about Fitz include mainly attitude and character issues. Drugs and partying, and some other stuff.............. Tiano is said to be a superb leader and very driven. Hard worker. Dak vouched for him and said some strong things about him as well.

Hey, it worked for Johnny Manziel. Well, at least it did during college.

Makes me think of Harmon off Blue Mountain State.

Damn, that's one hell of a hearsay for a kid that has been the No. 2 QB pretty much since he's been on campus. I have heard the complete opposite and have a hard time believing Mullen would put him out there if he was anything close to what you described.

Sounds more like smearsay to me! I don't really care who starts, but I wish Staleys big arse would do what he needs to for the starting spot. The ball comes out of his hand smooth as ice! But with the oline we have whoever it is will have to make quick decisions like last year when we decide to pass. If we cant get a run game going this year we are in for a tough season.

A problem with Staley is he has a slow gait, and I'm not sure if Tiano has any quick either. Fitz can move well and has shown a promising arm. I can't see anyone else starting over him at this point, but that could change down the line. All 3 guys can sling the ball well.

I'm not even sure that would be a negative. The gay dudes I know were way more driven and responsible than the rest of us. Less time chasing arse and more time studying, or in this case getting better at football.

Just be careful not to let people know that or people can refuse to sell him his drugs in Mississippi now.

Tiano sounds more like a MSU QB name. Nick Fitzgerald is too WASPy of a name to be a state QB

State bud of mine says Staley had the best spring. He said Tiano practiced like he didn't know which team he was supposed to throw too half the time (lot of picks)
