Pretty interesting stat regarding Bama and Saban.

Under Saban, Bama has never scored a TD in the 1st quarter following the LSU game.
Hopefully this trend continues. In the other 3 big games this year we've jumped out to big, early leads. This would definitely help the cause.

Well I am telling myself that we have been focusing on this game for a few weeks now. I hope that we come out energized and they come out flat. Of course...this is Alabama...so they will probably pull it out.

Saturday went as well as we could have hoped...plenty of rest for our 1s and a near 5Q brawl of a game in BR. If we can repeat the early starts we had vs LSU and AU there's no reason we can't pull this out.

Yeah I am hoping that all of that rotation on defense has been leading up to a well rested group of starters.

It's not just under Saban by the way. Pat Forde said today that stat dates back to 2001.
