I've seen a few references to the rules changes for this year, but does anyone have a definitive list?

I found this on ESPN:
ESPN Rules Changes

Which basically has:
1) Shot clock to 30 seconds
2) Fewer timeouts per team (from 4 to 3 in the 2nd half)
3) The arc beneath the rim was extended by a foot
4) Coaches can't call timeouts during live balls

From watching our game though, it seems like handchecking is going to be called as a foul now, and that a lot of minor contact things are now fouls, but I don't see a reference to that in the rules.

Anyone have a better list?

I'll be interested to see how that holds up when we go to Rupp. I still get mad and laugh too when I think about Jack cussing on air over fouls not being called.

The summary is that they are trying to push less contact, more movement. Going to see a lot more fouls called and a lot more points scored. I posted a link in another thread but don't want to go find it.

College basketball is going to be damn near unwatchable if they call all games that tight this year. I don't remember 3 straight possessions on Friday where a foul wasn't called.

I think it is the opposite. The players will adjust to the calls. The game will be more open once players stop grabbing and body-checking people on defense.

This. I'm hoping the game speeds up a bit.
