What a weird game.

Our offense was completely out of sync to start the game, and to be honest, I'm never sure that we actually looked that great on offense -- and yet we pulled away and throttled La Tech.

Remember, the spread on this game was 9.5, and we could have easily run up the score at the end.

One thing I do like is the intensity the D-line plays with. The other thing I like is that we again had a lot of players participate, and this time it was in an away game. Building depth is a HUGE thing for us developmentally and I am glad out backups got a lot of time in the 3rd and 4th quarters.

While on the subject of happiness, apologies again to Holloway, who worked his butt off, but having 3 large backs pounding away is a welcome relief. Kylin Hill is going to be the starter really soon, and that's not to take away from what Aires or Nick have shown. Hill just seems to have great vision to find the whole, then run over folks to end the run.

All in all, while I am not happy with our offense we somehow put a lot of points on the board and gave a team who many thought would would give us a strong challenge... well, we gave them a beatdown.
