Just reading that makes me think of the possibilities though, however idiotic that train of thought may be.

Yeah I realize it isn't going to happen. But I'm with you that it's fun just to think about.

And yeah it's double anyone in the SEC. At the same time though, why the hell not? Throwing 40 some odd at a stadium, might as well round things out.

Meh...if Cohen has to go I would rather they go after the Louisville guy or someone else around that caliber.

That may be more realistic, but you definitely wouldn't RATHER they go after anyone if Buck was available.

When Bailey Howell gets sick of Cohen is when Scott will be directed to pull the trigger. I hope it's sooner rather than later. We hummhawed around several years too late with basketball. Hopefully they won't allow this baseball program to reach that level. I have never been too excited about Cohenball.

Dude he has killed regular season baseball you will understand when you have a son one day. The joy we used to feel about heading up 25 to Starkville to catch a weekend series ended last year really. The first series we went to this year we lost. The second series we lost as well. I'm not a fair weather fan but do you realize how hard it is to commit to a weekend series knowing you are gonna lose? It sucks.

Oh how funny and juvenile. Someone disagrees with your Cohen love and you resort to kindergarten level responses. I was around when tha Kang walked the sidelines of DWS and i was preaching a year and a half before he was canned that it was time to go in a different direction. I'll be right about Cohen too.

But please enjoy the rest of your baseball season. This weekend should be.....interesting. I appreciate the prayers too.

It just seems weird to say you were never excited when we played for a national championship a couple of years ago. That wasn't exciting?

Well that snuck up on us in the post season. They were literally the team that refused to lose. I don't know many people who watched regular season games in 2013 thinking "Man we are going to play for a natty". Losses to UCA and others seem to come to mind.

I think regular attendance numbers this year prove that most people who followed State baseball and growing tired of Cohen. Next year, if he returns, will be the equivalent of welfare because no one will be at the games. Very hard to raise money for "the cathedral of college baseball" when you are averaging less than 500 paying customers a night.

Something else I have started to do too. I tune-in to the post game purely for fun now just to hear the excuses. Cohen may be waterboarding this team but he is the master of the post game interview. He is very careful to never blame the loss on the same thing from night to night. If he only identified a few problems that everyone else figured out a year or two ago then he would be expected to fix it. He comes up with a totally different scenario for each loss. Someone must have told him to back-off throwing his players under the bus because he has now moved on to throwing out statistical improbabilities of opposing players making the plays against us.

You can't be that stupid. Even with our abysmal performances this year, we we're 4th in average attendance, and 3rd in total attendance. Just stop.

How many games did you go to. There was no where near the announced attendance at those games boss. I went to three different series in Starkville and the visitors just about outnumbered us.

Pretty sure every SEC counts paying customers & not actual attendance...
