Bleacher Report did a special on the school in Maryland that Irvin-Sills attended for high school where there are 52 students and 52 members of the football team.

The video sheds a lot of light on his background and the stuff that he's gone through.

Ever since I read about Jahmere in high school, I've been a huge fan.

However, after watching that video I have some questions:

Where does the money come from for all of that?

You see the school, laptops for class, equipment, the CLOTHES the kids are wearing... If they're from such rough neighborhoods and there's no one else in the school paying tuition, where does all of the funding come from?

Alot of grade schools in the Northeast look like Millsaps or something. . Some of the nicest I've ever seen were on Massachusetts out in the boonies.

People bitched about my school giving out scholarships, I can only imagine what the locals think of this place.

Tuition is $10,000, compared with $6,030 for National Connections Academy, and it's obvious why. Football programs are expensive, and Eastern Christian is not giving scholarships. Parents can help cover tuition by getting sponsors to buy $1,200 advertisements in the stadium and on Eastern Christian's web page, and Sills says he has partnered with a bank to provide families with 15-year loans.

So if I had to guess, David Sills spends most of his time finding sponsors for his athletes, donors, etc. Not all of those on the team looked like they were from rough neighborhoods.

Damn, I just read that whole article.

I still have some questions about the funding. There's a reason that the FOCUS Foundation didn't work at the Red Wolves school in Delaware. $6 Mil in debt? How does it even get to that.

I think that article provoked more questions than answers for me.

Holy shite you're terrible. If you would have watched the video instead of jumping to your biases about underprivileged black kids getting YOUR money, you would have known that it is a PRIVATE school.

I agree with you. There are some christian basketball schools like this also.

Yeah I bet it would be much easier to do the basketball school, just because of the sheer number of players on a football team.

That coach that said, "They're like an AAU Football team, we just stay away from that altogether."

I mean, it basically is.
