I appreciate most of the hires he has done and the progress we are making overall as an athletic program.
But holy shite...you can not frick up this badly in a big sport hire.

Lol no. Stricklin has done wonders for our athletic dept as a whole. When was the last time an SEC basketball program made a good hire? Good coaches don't want to come coach in this conference.
He had to make chicken salad out of chicken shite after Stansbury. Nobody wanted the job...not like Ray was our first choice

Obviously. Most of the SEC coaches had resume's similar to Rick Rays when hired. Yes Stansbury needed to be fired. But you can not possibly say that this hire was successful. We are currently one of the worst team's in the nation. That isn't even hyperbole.

MBK is one of the few sports you can actually make some money on. It's not like botching the women's soccer hire or something.

If we continue to lose basketball games this season then Scott at least needs to gauge interest in our job with prospective candidates. There are good coaches out there that are willing to coach and take our job. Its not like we have sub par facilities
