This game would have been a great way to set us up for next season, I don't see us with much playoff momentum like this with Dak leaving.

Objectively, Diaz is allowing waay to many big plays.. People hate on Steele, but I think empirically he is doing better.

Diaz's numbers arent getting us to the playoffs and it can't just be offense trying to win for us (look at TAMU). ** I will try look up the final playoff teams' defensive stats to see where we need to be stat-wise. Ideally, history shows, we should be substantially better for consistency sake.

I think Diaz needs to go and we need a big DC hire.

Offensively, there is no excuse for how bad our running game is.

**I'll try post data after this game.

Hell we barely compete with La Tech, Bowling Green, Southern Miss, etc year in and year out.

Well that is part of the problem I suppose, when do you think they will ever be in the playoffs?

They clearly aren't playoff caliber teams. What do you think OSU or Okie would do to them?

To be a perennial top 4 power we need to blow them out

16 sacks in the last two home games vs. Bama and Ole Miss. Start there and work your way down the list. Can't win in the SEC west with that.

Even without the rest of his shitastic stay in Starkville being considered this stat alone should send Hevesy's useless arse packing.

He is quite likely the worst line coach in football.

I'm going to try not to melt and point out the fact we have numerous injuries in the secondary, lost some major key players from last years team including 3 solid o lineman. Lasts years Oline was really good.

I'm not gonna lay all the blame on coaching. Ole Miss was a team full of talented seniors from a great recruiting class and we were in a rebuilding year. We still outperformed expectations by going 8-4 this year and will get a solid bowl game. A bowl win and we finish the year ranked.

It's not that bad all things considered. Dak and our receivers literally carried this team to an 8 win season by themselves.

I think as an overall team we will be better next year in every position except QB but I have high hopes for Fitzgerald. Plus OM loses a lot, as does Arkabsas, LSU is a mess, auburn is a mess. I could easily see us top 3 in the West next year so let's not get irrational and start calling for coaches heads...we must remember we aren't Alabama we can't hire whoever we want

He said a bowl win most likely has us finishing the year ranked.

Agreed. Secondary was a huge hit, losing the best corner and our best safety. We could still have made a game out of it prior to Rufus not being able to play. But honestly him going out gimped the offense, and with an already gimped defense, it was a recipe for let down.

Honestly if it wasn't for Daks 2 early costly turnovers we win that game. We played fine after the 1st quarter but it was too much to overcome...and Dak hasn't fumbled hardly all year and that was his first pick 6.

It was out of his character and just one of those games. It happens. Can't hate on him, as a player he has brought some of those most exciting games I've ever watched as a MSU fan.

Yeah the pick was just him trying to do too much. He should have just put it in the stands. The fumble was just luck, it happens. Sometimes hats get put on the ball.

I would like us to make it into the SEC championship while a lot of the perennial powers are rebuilding. Strategically, 2014, 2015, and coming up 2016 are ideal for us.

Somehow Dan has to bring in some more 4-5 stars, not even a whole bunch, but around 5 would be good generate some recruiting momentum.

I want to know why it takes kids 3 years to get ready to play. Are they having to do differential equations to decipher a play call or some shite? We have a sideline littered with 4 star kids who "aren't ready".
