I would agree. Back problems will almost always be a more lingering issue than a broken bone, whatever bone that may be. Thankfully, to this point, Tony hasn't missed many games because of it.

I'm probably being overly-defensive, but this is one thing that gets under my skin. Everyone likes to talk about how much Romo sucks and how injury prone he is, even though it couldn't be further from the truth.

The guy has put up fringe top 5 QB numbers in the league for the last 5-8 years. The problem in Dallas isn't Tony Romo, it has been the defense for the entire time he has been the starter there outside of the Parcell years when he was young. It just gets tiring to defend him, when he shouldn't have to be defended.

Trust me, Romo has given me my fair share of stomach ulcers watching the Cowboys play, but not giving him his due credit is wrong.

Spinal injuries are always a cause for concern. Look at Manning. I didn't mean to infer that Romo wasn't durable in the traditional sense. Only that disc problems seem to be a residual issue for most. And one would want a capable backup in the stable in the event it rears its ugly head again.

Dak's toughness has impressed me. And I do think he has a stalwart stature and frame, and he is tougher to take down than Romo. Dak is an extremely strong kid. In all fairness to Romo, I don't think he has the size nor strength of Dak. And the Cowboys could potentially use that kind of QB in precision and/or jumbo packages. So, he could conceivably get some early playtime in Big D.

Both are listed as 6'2" 230, but I agree about strength.

We can agree to disagree, but as I originally stated, the Cowboys would be a perfect fit for Dak. He would sit for 3-5 years, maybe play some if there were an injury, but theoretically you just let him learn from Romo, and start in 3-5 years.

Fair enough.

I see you're a Lakers fan, as well. I often work in LA, so the Staples Center is right down the street from me.

See if you can swing some tickets to the last game of the season against the Jazz...

“Coach Wilson told me their picks,” Prescott said. “He told me they were thinking about getting a quarterback with one of those picks. He said if I work hard, things could work out.” Prescott said he grew up a Cowboys fan and would love to be selected by them in the draft. But his main focus in playing somewhere in the NFL. Prescott is rising up the draft boards. It was initially thought he would go in the third or fourth round. But now he is considered a second-round option.

Since I am anti-cowboys, I greet this with a "Noooooo!" :)

I'm hoping the Texans get him.

Sounds like the Texans want Hackenburg. I just hope Cleveland doesn't draft him.

If the Texans draft hackenburg I may be jump off of the Texans train.

Based on the Penn St games I watched, that guy is terrible, he takes a lot of sacks and then pouts on the sidelines.

God I hate Dallas but Jerry is going to die soon so Dak could potentially be involved with a franchise turn around there, and who knows, maybe even win some rings.

I have never understood the love this guy gets. He isn't the worst QB out there, but he isn't good.

I think they are just saying this b/c O'Brien coached him one season. Which was probably his best.

I have a feeling the Texans will pick up RGIII and get a 2nd or 3rd round QB pick.

Yeah, i went back and read it. It's the hand size thing and CH has small hands. Dak has 10 7/8" hands. Holy Crap.

Hand size is a huge factor. More important than any other measurable for a QB.
