Apparently he quit after the Arkansas game. Odd for a senior to quit with one game left. My only guess is that he got benched or chewed after our poor coverage of Arkansas' TE's?

Anyone got anything?

I heard he got into it with Manny, or Mullen after he found out he wouldn't be starting last weekend. Quit the team and didn't walk for Senior Day. Strange considering he was a 5th year senior.

I was pretty rough on him but he actually improved through this year. But one more game and he quits? That is odd.

Probably a decision that he will regret after he has settled down about it.

I started at WR my junior season. I was demoted to 2nd string before fall camp even started my senior year. I was pretty dejected and thought about quitting. I was talking to my dad about it, and he was pretty rough on me for being such a wimp. I stuck it out. Dad was right to chew me out. Jackson needed someone in his ear telling him the same thing that I heard.

I hate the way it turned out, but am glad someone took the initiative to start the best player. If we will do that all over the field going forward, could see some serious progress.
