Simmons was supposed to go to Ole Miss and State this weekend and instead skipped Ole Miss altogether and came to State.
I don't have the whole list, but Knott was there with Davis after the Bama game. AJ Brown, Kobe Jones, and all of their interviews sounded pretty good after the game.

Not that I know anything at all, but what makes you say this? Everything I have read (and heard via radio reports here) says he is actively recruiting for Bama as recently as the OM game.
I worry about AJ and Simmons the most, we need Knott too, but we have to keep reloading at WR and still haven't found a dominant edge rusher yet.

I hope so, this year has been a disappointment early to me just because last year we had the bell cows of the class out recruiting for us like Jamal Peters, Malik Dear, Dontae Jones and such. This year we have guys right in our backyard like Brown, Simmons, Jones and Lashley that could all do that type of thing but won't pull the trigger. And don't even plan to make a decision until probably early next year. Maybe we end up getting most if not all those guys in the end but last year it was the influence of the early commits that helped us have probably the best class we've had under Mullen. And I really thought the #1 ranking and the great year we had last year would have had more impact on the recruits for this year. That's not real evident at this point.

Hell, Jerry Meyer doesn't even list State in any of his articles about De'Ron Davis and we are the leader between us and Indiana. That being said he's a national writer for 24/7 basketball and like the Director of Basketball scouting.
It's just not even worth it.

I have a question for y'all regarding former Alabama RB Tyren Jones. Some guy on BOL is saying he is enrolling at State in the Spring. Is this true? I haven't seen it mentioned here in your thread or on the State 247 site. He's a stud when not smoking weed.

Justin Thomas TE from ECCC committed last night.
6'6"-6'7" 275 lbs.
Paul thinks that someone is either moving positions or that this guy won't end up playing TE in college. He and Robbie both agreed that when they saw him at summer camp his athleticism was impressive but didn't think we would take a JUCO TE in this class.
He could slim down and stay at TE, stay where he is and move to DE (played there some in JUCO), or gain about 20 lbs and become an OT. Going to be interesting to see how all these TEs play out.
