I'm not buying that there "never was an issue with him qualifying." If that were true then he never would've double signed with MGCCC.

Let's put all that aside and focus on the fact that David Johnson posted on the Rebel 24/7 site that Jamal Peters likely wouldn't qualify AFTER he signed with State.

Honestly I am more interested in basketball recruiting now. More of an unknown. I think we know what we get with Mullen now. To his credit he has gotten better. So I think we will probably end up with classes in the 15-30 range.

I'll C&P my post from the Ole Miss board on Lashley.
Lashley is a big time project but the guy is a really good athlete. Big men who can move are a premium and he can move. I do think he is ranked too highly though because the guy has played in less than 10 games and he was the starter in like half. He wasn't particularly effective when he played. But he will sign with MSU unless they pull his scholly.
Benito Jones will cost you more than 8k.

It probably had to do with passing on of the Subject area State subject area tests. Peters probably hadn't passed in in early Feb and has since passed. Thus his admission to state and graduation from Bassfield
