Mullen lost us the game. Plain and simple.

The OL sucked in the first half, but the play calling was fricking terrible. I can't stand when Dan gets in those "Try not to lose" slumps.

I thought after halftime we opened up the offense a little and you could tell the OL got better during the second half of that game. At least with the pass protection.

What do y'all have to say about Holloway now? Y'all shite on that dude for absolutely no reason.

If Dan keeps telling Dak not to run, refusing to run the read option, or if Dak keeps giving it to the back on the read option, and refusing to run when it is wide open on a passing play, I will lose my fricking mind. Somebody needs to tell Dak he isn't a fricking pocket passer, take your big arse and run the fricking ball.

How we keep from getting De'runnya involved until the second half is beyond me. The guy is an absolute beast.

Anyone blaming the loss on Bell, or the fact that we used Bell in that situation is just ignorant. There is nothing else to call it. If Graves can't kick a football 50+ yards then he has 0% chance to make it. If Bell can kick a football 50+ yards, even without accuracy, you have a higher percentage chance to make it than 0%. How do you justify saying that it shouldn't have been Bell out there? Just ignorant.

Dan lost us the football game. That's all I take from it. Our defense played well enough. Our offensive play calling in the first half held us to 6 points. Dan better get out of getting Dak ready for the NFL and win us a fricking football game. I was at least glad to see him own the delay of game at the end. He's still a fricking retard for it, but at least he admitted as such.

I'm pleased with Holloway; although he had one of three drops I remember. Even put his pads down & took on 2 tacklers up the middle.

Sure hope we find a replacement for Shump soonest.

Holloway is what he is. A number 2, change of pace, back with basically no receiving skills.

We need to figure out who wants to play between Shump, Lee, and Williams, and we need to do it fast. Our offensive line needs to help though, and Dak needs to pull it and run.

I'm not going to say Shump can't be the guy just yet, because the OL has to play better and Dak needs to make the defense account for him, but I'm leaning that way.

Also, unrelated, Why the frick aren't the numbers on the shoulders anymore? It looks fricking stupid with a big blank space there. Leave the shite alone. Everyone loved them last year so why fricking change it?

Not going to matter who is back there without an OL that can run block.

How the hell we haven't been able to teach Holloway to catch is beyond me. Holy shite, there is no way someone that athletic has hands that bad.

Dynasty is spot on. This game lies on the first half play calling. Dak and our receivers are absolutely boss. Hell, I think if we stretch the field with the pass, the run opens up. I'm not sure why we waited until the 3rd quarter to go downfield. Blows my mind.

True, but the run really opens up when Dak and Dan stop being pussies. They could really, REALLY, hurt their public perception this season if they continue this shite and we don't win 9 games.

this is the issue, not the RB choice

read somewhere that Addidas messed them up...idk if it's true or not.

This OL has not shown they can run block anyone. I don't care if they have to run some one in from the sideline every other play and tell Rankin what to do ...he needs to play if he is physically better. Already tired of watching Warren get beat off the edge. If we can't develop a run game, it's going to be a LONG season...

While I agree with that, it was only the second game for a couple of them to play. To make it easier on the OL, you run the read option, the pitch option to the outside, Dak can scramble, etc. etc.

If we had last years offensive line and Dan all of a sudden wanted to tell Dak to stay in the pocket as a senior and develop his passing skills then whatever, but not this year, not with this OL.

Dak and Dan better get it together. I'm not blaming the OL yet for their frick ups.

Two teams join us on the loss side Saturday; I'm hoping LSUx & AlaBama, or LSUx & Mississippi...

If Auburn beats LSU, then the comparative team thing really will be fubar. If LSU wins, then i think Auburn really starts having identity crisis time. That really is a must win for us now. IF we go into aTm at 2-2, we might be in serious...serious trouble.

Kentucky aint no joke this year.

Either way, they'll be bumped & bruised by LSUx.

B/c Graves made a 43 yarder earlier in the game in the same direction. You know what else is a 0% chance? Bell making that kick. Everybody knows it. 20 more ft to go? Dan should have told Graves to go give it his best boot. The reason Bell can't make it is because he doesn't like the Kicker role. Oh and b/c I want to vent on a message board!

If Graves can't kick a football 50+ yards

During the USM game I'm pretty sure the announcers even said Graves was hitting them from 50yds in warm-up when claiming he was the short yardage kicker. Maybe b/c it was wind assisted.

Doesn't matter.

If Mullen / Dak wouldn't have gotten the delay of game we wouldn't be having this conversation.

It's Mullen's fault. Period.

ETA: From all reports Graves can't kick it past 45 yards. He's not making a 51 yarder. Bell gave us the only opportunity to make it, however little it may have been.
