I don't think UAB made the Sweet 16. They were a 14 seed and upset Iowa State (3 seed). They then lost to 11th seeded UCLA. UCLA lost in the round of 16.

Yeah I think Paul got mixed up. When I started reading about it, they technically lost in the third round, which used to be the Sweet 16. Instead now they count the play in games as round 1, which I think is stupid, so round 3 would be the field of 32.

I do think that they have all 5 starters back plus CUSA's 6th man award winner.

You're right - Nick Norton, Robert Brown, Tosin Mehinti, William Lee, Hakeem Baxter, and Chris Cokley, who won the 6th man of the year, all return.

Looks like Paul made some errors in his write up.

I purchased tickets for a UAB game in B'ham through their website one time. They have been sending me emails since. I usually just delete them, but I read the preseason BB review since I knew we were going to play them in that secret scrimmage.
