That sucks... He got some big outs for Cohen during his time on the mound in Starkville... Hate that all these Dawg seniors are going out like this.

I am only a fair weather baseball fan anyway. I don't know how people can have the patience to follow college baseball throughout a season. Especially if you are just having a meh season.

Same

It was way better when I was in school and could go to the games. And drink.

Only students and former students who lived for MSU baseball during their academic career truly care about our program it seems. While that doesn't seem much, we have some of the best alumni support for baseball in the SEC alongside OM and LSU. I for one, don't miss a single home game because I love the atmosphere. Honestly, what better do students have to do on a Tuesday night then watch baseball, drink cold beer, and grill meat?

Well, I'm sure there are a lot of MSU fans that follow whatever of the Big 3 men's sports are in season. I'm pretty much like that. For me its football then a pretty good dropoff to baseball and then basketball in the rear, but I keep up with all of them. In general I just think college basketball is not what it used to be because of AAU and the lack of fundamentals in the game now. But with Howland my interest level in MSU basketball has certainly been raised to see what happens.

This lineup is going to be ridiculous when Collins comes back. Then we legitimately have too many guys we need to have in the lineup. Rooker will be nasty if he gets enough at bats to progress. In that sense your hands are tied. You have Gridley, Heck, Rea, and Holland who basically have to be your infield. Collins is a lock at C. Outfield you have to have Humphries and Robson, then you still have Smith, Brown, all of whom would be great additions to the lineup. I think you have to go with Vickerson and keep Rooker at DH. The problem that leaves is Walker, Lovelady, Brown, Smith, and Reynolds all left out of the lineup. Good problems to have.

This was a post skirp made in this thread back in February.
