If Joker is retained (and my guess is he will be), do you expect them to dump or keep Minter/Sanders and the others? Would it make sense to keep Joker and start over with new coordinators?

You keep mentioning this. I'm curious as to what makes you feel this way? I can't see how anyone can keep a possible 2 win coach in a non-probation season given there's been a 30,000+ average fan drop in attendance.

No. We've been there and done that already with the wholesale changes Joker made recently.

Belle,

I have friends who know Mitch Barnhart and he doesn't want to give up on Joker yet and is looking for any positives for keeping him. He sees the same things we are seeing but also sees the injuries, youth, and if they play like they did against Georgia, the progress being made.
I also think he doesn't have a "home run" replacement that would make the fans happy, and is hoping if they remain competitive the rest of the way there will be enough reason to keep Joker.
Then if things go better early next year, the fan base will return and support Joker. I think the TV contract money more than makes up for the attendance issues and they can weather that storm.
It's also obvious the kids are playing hard for Joker and that means something as well(at least what we saw against Georgia).

At the end of the day, if UK can beat a Missouri or Vandy and Samford and play well against Tennessee, Joker will get another year.
I guess also in a small way, I was at UK when Joker was a player and I like the idea that he wants to be at UK and succeed.

If they get blown out of these remaining games, a change will have to be made. I guess the upside there is whomever the new coach would be would have a decent amount of talent to start with.
