Aug. 31 WKU Nashville
Sept. 7 Miami (Ohio) Home
Sept. 14 Louisville Home
Sept. 21 Open
Sept. 28 Florida Home
Oct. 5 South Carolina Columbia
Oct. 12 Alabama Home
Oct. 19 Open
Oct. 26 Mississippi St. Starkville
Nov. 2 Alabama State Home
Nov. 9 Missouri Home
Nov. 16 Vanderbilt Nashville
Nov. 23 Georgia Athens
Nov. 30 Tennessee Home

What does everyone think... Likes/Dislikes

I like having two open dates in the schedule. I think the two weeks off in late september and late october are going to be a huge bonus especially with all the injuries we had this season.

The home SEC schedule is great, will likely get some folks to purchase season tickets regardless of the coaching situation. Louisville home too is a plus obviously.
I don't care for playing Western in Nashville. Last time there were what, 20K people there. Not a great atmosphere to kick off the season.
I would like to see UK playing IU or even Purdue yearly instead of Miami or Alabama State, but that's just me. I realize we need cupcakes, but I think we could beat IU/Purdue regularly.

Overall I don't see any breakthrough's next year regardless of coach. Maybe 4 wins.

Obviously no one wants to play Alabama.

I hate that WKU game. Arguably the dumbest thing our administration has come up with.

I wouldn't mind going to Athens to catch that game.

Yeah, we go to one away game every year and next year we are going to Nashville to see the WKU game.
This year we are going to Missouri so, I won't be on here late friday or all day saturday. I'll be sure to give you a run down on the trip sometime sunday when we get back in town.

As far as SEC fans in other stadiums. We have always had a great time. Georgia fans have been the nicest, South Carolina fans were great too. Florida and Tennessee fans were cool, besides a few stray hecklers, nothing really bad. Vandy fans were fun, but the year we went, UK had has many fans there as Vandy did. The only negative time I had was during our visit to Tuscaloosa. Most Alabama fans were nice to us, but the few that were negative towards us made the experience very uncomfortable.

Sadly, that's the one game that we're talking about heading up to Lexington for.

Dude, Bama is a beast in football. You should feel fine putting up that tent no matter where you go. I know I feel the same when traveling during basketball season. People know whats up when you have your UK gear on during basketball season.

UK Football gear... Not so much

That outfit is Awesome!!!

I respect Bama fans and the passion they have for football. I hope they win the title again this year.

You have an entire state, with the exception of a few Auburn fans, behind your team and and all the passion and tradition makes it special.

UK is the same way with an entire state behind the basketball program, besides a few Louisville fans, and all the tradition and passion we have for it here is special.

This is why I can understand the devotion the Tide fans have for their school and I respect it. It is also the reason everyone else hates Bama football and UK basketball. We are the best in our particular sports in the conference as well as the Nation.

Good Luck against LSU this weekend. It looks to be your biggest hurdle to the BCS title game. Bama will kill Georgia. Hell, we almost beat Georgia

I also think we have the same feelings for our teams respective "other" sports.

Bama fans would just like the basketball team to make the NCAA Tourney on a regular basis and UK football fans would just like to make it to a Bowl game on a regular basis.

Compared to where we are now, I would agree, but I didn't go to Birmingham cause I was ticked they were only going to the Music City Bowl or worse.

Oh, how I wouldn't give for the Music City Bowl now...

I would want either Tuberville or Mike Bellotti of all the names I have seen.
I would even take Fulmer, as long as he can bring Chavis for DC and perhaps even Cutcliffe for OC, but I doubt he would downgrade.
