I got to go to the UK/South Carolina game with friends who had tickets in suite, and a VIP parking pass. Many, the folks who can afford that stuff have got a sweet gig.
We got to the stadium about 6:15, had a blue lot VIP parking pass. Drove straight into where the satellite trucks are parked, and found a parking place and parked.
Got upstairs at the suite, each suite has food (we had barbeque, grilled chicken breast, cole slaw, mac and cheese, bourbon bread pudding, and a couple of other things. Water and soft drinks as well. Outside on the patio under the scoreboards they had someone grilling burgers and hot dogs. Super good and nice.
Great view of the game as well, nice comfortable seats. Joe B. Hall was in the booth next to the one I was in.
Game was well played, best game of the UK era for Stoops team IMO, and winning was nice.
After the game, we left the suite, went back down the elevator and outside, and had to wait on the players to leave the field and go to the field house.
We finally get back to the car around 11:30 and it turns out I had left the car running for the entire game and didn't notice it. It was sitting in park for about 5 hours running. I've never done something like that before.
No issues, but my wife is holding it over my head now.

Well at least you had enough gas in the first place, could have been worse. You may need to check the battery tho.

For some odd reason reading your post, this song was playing in my head.

Glad you had a good time

Battery died today. Luckily it was still under warranty.

That's good. I called the dealership, they told me to jump it and bring it in. I got there, the lady took it back and 15 minutes later brought me the keys, said it was replaced and I was out of there. Never had such a quick trip to the dealership.

Last time I went to the dealership I went in for an oil change and left with a new truck.
