Slow SECRant--Script running?

Sometime in the last year the SECRant has suddenly dragged--a lot. Is there a new script running in the background slowing it up or is it a compatibility with Microsoft Edge? It starts, stops, hesitates really bad. It's the only site that does this on my laptop so I don't think its my system. What changed?
