Or you can just have the self discipline to ignore posters that trigger you.

I am thinking an ignore button would remove threads from posters who I don't want to read, thus decreasing clutter on the first page of the forum

There is an ignore button. It's called the scroll wheel or your thumb if on mobile.

This. There are good threads on the SECr, unfortunately they are outnumbered 10-1 by shitty troll threads.
