How about suspending any poster who starts a "Check in if..." thread?

The boards fill up with these after any kind of news breaks or a game has finished. They are stupid and not funny.

I agree even though I've been guilty of doing a few.
The problem is once one starts, everyone has to start one. And then there's the inevitable "check in if you checked in to check in" thread
