It's obvious you don't like people saying their opinion that there is bias here. Did that help you figure out what I meant? So I'm an alter for posing a question you didn't like or understand? That's interesting.

Well if we are talking about bias... every time something doesn't go your way (I don't mean you personally, but everyone one of us out there) your first gut reaction is going to be that there was bias or you were cheated. Usually we get over it but that is just how the mind works.
Are you more likely to feel the gentle tap of the banhammer if you bring up certain subjects regarding LSU then usual? Sure. You probably are. It did start life as an LSU board and it is moderated by LSU fans primarily.
That having been said... I've seen threads get nuked and people get banned for posts that have nothing to do with LSU. The board and its moderators are remarkably tolerant for the most part. Otherwise this place would have been a ghost town after some of the games last year.
As for the trolling, I will admit, sometimes I can't resist the urge to poke a rival fanbase with a stick. I will also admit I've been trolled, and successfully I might add, on here myself. It does add a bit of spice to things and helps to pass the time of day.
You can still find some great discussions on a wide range of subjects. People post here, even if they aren't LSU fans, because its the best forum going to talk about SEC sports, and quite a few other topics as well. I drop in a few times a day during breaks to keep myself sane from the monotony of my job and I imagine that goes for most folks here.
I mean, after all, there is only so much porn you can watch on your breaks before eye strain and chafing become a problem.

Why post here?
Well, several years ago I posted on the old ESPN message boards, until they tweaked the format and fricked it up. Obviously, they have since gotten out of the MB business.
I then went to a new SEC-centric MB that was set up by some UGA folks that also fled ESPN's new format. Had a great time posting there for a few years but it went kaput. (I've seen a couple or so LSU people here that used to post there, too.)
Joined and posted on a couple of Bama sites (not BOL), but I didn't enjoy those because of the lack of interaction with fans of other schools.
I really enjoy this 'LSU' site as much as any. I like the interaction and the idiocy. And I agree that the admins do treat LSU topics, certainly the critical ones, a lot differently than they do for other schools. Sure, I wish that they were more unbiased and fair with respect to those topics, but it is their site and I will begrudge them their right to do that.
This is a really, really good MB.

As long as you don't make fun of Les Miles' ... marriage partner, Hurricane Katrina, or start unproven rumors regarding LSU, you should be fine.
