Only happens on this site. Typically, it only happens on my phone but is now happening on the desktop. When you try to exit, you get the pop up box asking "Are you sure you want to exit?". I usually kill the site through Task Manager instead of actually clicking yes.

Anybody else see this?

Your computer and phone have the ninja.

Edit: Do not look at your bank account on them until it is fixed.

Routine virus scan doesn't pick them up and it only happens on this website. I don't think there is anything on my machine.

I get similar redirects. Walmart gift cards is one of them.

It seems to go in streaks.

Deleting your history/cookies seems to help.

Also seems like it happens on certain pages that have posts with an image.

Not recently on SECR, but it has happened to me here and on other sites (Drudgereport for one).

It is a javascript redirect embedded in one of the ads. Since we all see different ads based on whatever metrics say about us, we won't all get a bad one with the redirect. It is also virtually certain this site isn't involved at all.

If you want to make sure that's what is happening to you, there's an easy way to test. Just turn off javascript, clear the cache, and revisit the site. No more redirect means that's what is happening to you.

To test if you've got an iOS device go into settings, scroll down to the left and tap safari. On the right, tap advanced, and turn off javascript. Turning it off is different on PCs and android devices, so you'll just have to research those. Also, with javascript off, some sites aren't going to render or function properly so this isn't a solution. It is just a way to verify the cause.
