I think the admins are more concerned with banning posters who are problems to the board for other reasons. IMing can be annoying but the OTB is a little more laid back. Now if you start that shite on the rant then you may get some PM's or get a timeout.

You just need thick skin to post there. Those guys post stuff in an attempt to make you mad and melt down, then laugh at you. Just sack up and take it in stride. It took me a year before I realized that people were just trolling 99% of the time. I used to get mad everytime I got on there now that I look at it differently its easier to post on there.
