Feel like we're playing a lot more than LSU this game. Good lord.

I'm convinced this is rigged

Yeah it's gotta little swindle in the swamp feel. Not as bad as that game though. Good god

We just fkn suck
Posted on 10/7/17 at 4:52 pm to StrawsDrawnAtRandom
We need more of that, run the ball and set up screens n playaction for Franks. Stop being cute

We should be beating the hell out of this crap team.

Even down sixteen players, this is pretty depressing.

The only thing on the field worse than the refs was UF's offense.

I'm just waiting for Reel to post another dumbass post and call me an idiot.

A retarded gameplan, Malik Davis doesn't get in the game until the third quarter. I'm done with McElwain. Even with the missing players, he can't even beat a team that just got trucked by Troy.
But I just don't understand why every single fricking team plays us so fricking hard. Vanderbilt comes and throws on every down -- doesn't do anything against Georgia like that. They don't make the acrobatic catches, they don't run hard, they just lie down and take it.
LSU, too. All last week they didn't give it on a jet sweep at all, this week? They play like their lives are on the line.
To think a missed extra point lost it for us. Time to go coach shopping, though. We won't win another game this season.

LSU was shite today. They eeked out 17 points on UF's worst defense in 20 years.
Florida's offensive game plan was fricking retarded. I am 100% confident I could have drawn up a better game plan than that. Literally 100% positive.
This staff is just bad.
This team might still win 6 games because the schedule is such a joke, but to not win this game at home when your garbage arse defense holds them to 17 points is just all on the fricking coaches for putting together such a shitty offensive game plan and only letting Toney and Davis, your two best offensive players, barely touch the ball.
SERIOUSLY YOU frickING IDIOTS GIVE THE BALL TO DAVIS AND TONEY. ITS SO frickING OBVIOUS THAT WHEN YOU DO THAT GOOD THINGS HAPPEN.

How on Earth did we not give it to those two players more? Davis (I haven't checked) probably got 7 yards a carry. (It's 6.4 )
So, guys, shall we ask for our forward of a couple million dollars to draw up the games for now on?
This is easily the worst loss of McElwain's career -- and hopefully this is one of those ''holy shite we actually have to play to win'' and they come back -- but I just don't feel like the coaches understand how to gameplan.

They do not. This offensive staff would be out game planned by my old flag football team.
I am not even joking. 100% serious. We could at least draw up plays to expose the team opposite us.
This coaching staff just does not know how to do that.

Ok Box you're an idiot...feel better?
I watched this entire game, every snap and 100 TV commercials (with fricking sound turned off) and here are my observations:
Our center and RT are not getting it done....where is Fred Johnson? Where is Stone Forsyth? Where is a guard to free up Jordan to move back to center? Most of you guys don't really watch the trenches like I do and and we should have had 150 yds more offense with better blocking.
As I feared, its easy to see Franks is not quite ready and although he has improved because of our run game, when our OL takes a dump then he was faced with too many 3rd and longs.
Franks kept trying to throw to Powell and it doesn't take a genius to figure out on the fourth down with time running out where he'd go with the ball although three LSU defenders were there in the area. And the previous play I hark back to what I posted here about Malik Davis, great runner of course but isn't skilled enough to be in the backfield to protect Franks....that's on the coaches.
Of course on the 4th down we put in Thompson to block.
It was a perfect storm and the loss to Troy fired those Cajuns up. We have too many frosh on defense and at times it shows Lenton and Shawn Davis are playing out of necessity. Its not Mac's fault that we lost our leading tackler before the first snap and its not his fault that Washington got hurt and I could go on and on.
Chad you are wrong making a kneejerk reaction to a loss. Mac is our HC through 2018 at least....don't be a numbskull. Fans always holler for HC coaches to be fired after a loss and there wouldn't be any coaches left in the country if ADs listen to them.
Look at Texas and Va Tech who hired flavors of the year in 2016 Herman and Fuentes.....hows that turning out?

The fourth quarter play calling was very bad they come out and really look good moving the ball in the third and after the third the play calling went back to the first half just let these guys play if we lose at least we lose swinging.
But not having a deep threat hurt us today they were lost with out cleveland

I will add to that Cleveland missing hurting us...a lot.
The other thing most fans don't pay attention to is field position...in the first half especially we were backed up inside our 20 yd line a LOT. You have to be careful with a frosh QB and don't want to give away a cheap one. We usually picked up at least 1 first down every time we were backed up and that gave Townsend a chance to back them up also.
One thing we HAVE to improve on is the kickoff returns and the punt returns...it sucks. We have improved though in punt coverage quite a bit.

These are nice observations, and I'm a McElwain guy through and through -- but at the end of the day: This LSU team is terrible. Absolutely abysmal and they just came and won on Homecoming.
When we had a tribute to Petty, man.
My problem with McElwain is that Davis was running harder, faster and with more vision the last few games. 6.4 average -- which is fricking stellar in the SEC. Significantly better than Guice, a junior.
He touches it 14 times, and Perine gets 12 and is a yard less per carry. Why the frick is Davis not getting it 25 times a game?
Toney doesn't get targeted for a screen all game, doesn't get a short route, doesn't get a quick edge play, no fricking jet sweep. Nothing, Reel. He only touched the ball 6 times but he was running at...
8.7 YARDS A frickING CARRY.
This is the kind of shite that lost Muschamp HIS fricking job -- keeping players happy when it's time to just go with the hot hands. They only touched it twenty times in the game and shite, man, with a bunch of visitors who are freshmen...
What better game to have our freshman touch the ball forty times? Seriously, the broken tackle margin isn't even close, either.
We knew all week we probably wouldn't have Cleveland, so did we prepare for it? Nope. Not even a little. No deep threat, but you can scheme around that. Roll the pocket, get Goolsby out on delayed throws -- nope.
We cannot compete in the SEC while only throwing 16 times in a game and we played RIGHT into LSU's gameplan of making it a shorter game, with less possessions.
This is sickeningly poor gameplanning, awful, abysmal.
Any gameplan I'd have would start with: Davis getting at least 25 carries, PERIOD and Toney touching it at least 15 times with 10 carries. Period.
How on Earth can these coaches not even be bothered to see this?
