Well, its that time of year.

Not the same this year....UGA is in the dump and I almost feel sorry for them...almost

The hatred used to be so much stronger in the 1960-80s til we dominated them so much. My worse nightmare was 1976 when we led 27-13 at halftime and the long awaited SEC title was in reach finally!!!! Then the second half was dreadful and they scored 28 unanswered points....to beat us 41-27 as I recall. The 1966 game when we were undefeated and Spurrier was a senior is second worse. It was a beatdown.

One of the best games was the following year in 1977 when we were not very good...but had AA Wes Chandler and he put on a clinic. He caught a TD pass (we were awful throwing the ball) in the back of the end zone and ABC showed replays of it several times. Wes Chandler was simply the best WR we ever had and could fake DBs right out of their cleats. In 1977 he played QB/RB and WR out of necessity.

This game will be close, unless UF scores some non-offensive TDs.

On paper, UF should blow them out but this is a rivalry game. Hoping for a multi TD win though.

Key is going to be stoping the run and putting pressure on the freshman qb but if we don't turn the ball over I see us winning 27-17 Go Gators!!!

Have fun at the game wish I could go but I'm excited about heading to Gainesville for the USC game. Anyone have idea on how to get reasonably priced tix?

I think UF comes out sluggish and pulls away in the 2nd half after UGA jumps out to an early lead.
