Watch UF-UT Replay on SECN

First, its annoying to hear Dari say "due to time constraints, we move ahead in our coverage" 6 times.
What I observed, we have some truly gifted DTs who are true frosh..Kyree Campbell and Tedarell Slaton. They were almost unblockable and they will only get better. Slaton is 360 and is a force...Campbell got 1 sack and he is about 305...the future at DL is bright. Marco Wilson is already causing QBs to throw elsewhere. Our frosh will play more as the season progresses.
What I didn't like is seeing is first string players on kick coverages and this is what really tired them out. Especially after long return by UT in late 3rd qt.
We did well on most fly screens in the flats and picked up some first downs. We actually had two other WRs open on the bomb play at the end. And could have gotten 35-40 play and call immediate timeout to kick FG...but Tryee had his arm up signaling to Franks he was beating his man and boom!
UT tried their best to stop us from running and for the most part it worked well. Franks is going to face the same thing against UK...so we will be throwing a lot of short passes to offset it. Why not throw long you ask? First of all we want our QB to remain upright and long passes take time....which we wont have a lot of.
UK could be a game where we throw 35-40 times if we aren't able to run well. Remember our punter is our offenses best friend at times. I'm hoping our OL can open up some holes for our RBs.

We got Kentucky in the bag. Their defense isn't Michigan level, especially their defensive backs who are prone to giving up big plays.

From your lips to Gods ears Straw...I don't think you realize how fired up UK will be at home, at night and wanting to end 30 year streak.
The best team doesn't always win...Straw....was Ole Miss better than us in 2008 in the Swamp with Tebow? No, but they wanted it more. I could name 100s of games where teams outplayed the favorites...it happens.
Don't start calling for Macs head either if we lose...we are a young team and will get better. UK has to play some tough games and could lose 2 SEC games and we could win out.

They're fired up every year, they make a lot of noise every year, they play us hard from time to time. Ole Miss was actually a good team that year -- they didn't lose a single game by more than a touchdown the entire year.
Kentucky is not 2008 Ole Miss. They are a below-average team playing averagely in a below-average stadium.

Ppl are acting like KY is just blowing these teams out, they played 3 close games against 3 lesser that avg teams.
