I expect Vandy to stack the box and see if Del Rio can beat them down the field.

we already know that he can.

that gif reminds me, why can't everygame we play end up like the 2016 Florida/Kentucky game? 45-7

i'm giving del rio a mulligan, and willing to see how he performs against vandy. my assumptions of him during the offseason - present was based on the later half of last year with his injuries and trying to play mr. macho.

Vandy's secondary is legit. LDR is not the best passer. Not a good combo.

It's going to be UGLY.

UF has more speed - they should attack them on the edges and try to pound the rock. Pray their FG kicker makes more FGs.

Same here. His long ball is mediocre but his short intermediate game is his strength.

Stacking the box can lead to long TD runs and short passes can turn into long TDs as well if you have someone who can make people miss. Toney can do that. Powell to a lesser extent.

With Del Rio, I expect the TEs and Swain to be more involved in the passing game. Del Rio mentioned that him and Swain rehabbed together and ended up practicing a lot.

It's pretty cool feeling like our offense can take advantage of another team's defense. Especially against a pretty solid defense.

I'm getting that feeling with some of the weapons we're watching develop on offense.

We can exploit defenses with Malik Davis, K Toney, and Cleveland and the offensive line improving. You can see it getting closer. Gotta take another step forward this week.

Everybody kind of forgets and trashes on Del Rio but he had some pretty damn good passes -- tight windows, third and longs. Against KY he did well enough to move the ball, switch up the blocking to open up runs.

I think we can get Vandy down pretty early and coast the rest of the way. They were pretty banged up from Bama Jama Hama Lama.

I also remember a lot of INTs. He is best when he is a game manager. No turnovers and get the ball to the playmakers.
