This just isn’t fun anymore...

It hasn’t been fun for awhile. Every year we think it’s going to be different. But it’s the same old crap year after year. If it’s not one thing, it’ll be something else. I believe we’ve stooped so low that we may be on the level of the likes of Tennessee, Vandy, Wake Forest, Boston College, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Texas, Troy, UAB, FAU, etc.
I get more enjoyment watching anybody else, but Florida. And I genuinely feel bad about that. Watching Florida play football has gone from winning championships to partaking in weekend chores. I honestly don’t know what’s worst. Watching them play on Saturday or using that time mowing and edging the lawn.

I hate to say it, but I agree with you. I only half watched the game and did other stuff. I was not surprised by the out come.
I was a little shocked that the play calling improved randomly in the 3rd quarter, but they reverted in the 4th back to what they did earlier in the game.
Just tough football to watch. Not pretty at all. I like a good run game and they just went away from it.

Until a change is made to the staff we will get these same results . It's sad because it looks like we have some play makers on offense .

Florida football hasn't been fun since Tebow left. That next year, I think we opened up with Miami of Ohio or maybe Bowling Green. Our center/QB exchange was a nightmare. Like 15 times the center couldn't get the ball snapped correctly. Our offense has been shite, every since. That's been a loooong time ago.

allow me to share some info that will make you feel better this AM
looking at the games remaining on the schedule, there is a real solid chance that your game with Free Shoes will be for bowl eligibility for them
a REALLY good chance - and that is assuming they beat Duke

the last game in the Swamp looks like it will be for whether of not they wind up 5-6 or 6-5
on yesterday's game - it was LSU's super bowl - they gave it everything they had & still needed a bad hold on a missed EP to win
y'all are super thin right now & it is hard to see the extenuating circumstances of your problems being a long term thing
these next 2 games will determine your season

It takes a Dawg with common sense to point out the positives and he is right.
We faced a LSU team that was embarrassed by Troy and you knew they had extra juice. We still fought hard with what we had. An extra point missed due to a botched hold. These things happen sometimes...get over it.
If it had been 17-17 when we were pinned down deep inside our five yd line we would have not gone for it on fourth down, we would have punted and gone into OT.
Time to regroup and beat A&M. Our run game got almost 200 yds. Its pass blocking where we have to have more mobility on the OL. We have to protect Franks.
Imo A&M may be equal to LSUs defense. They used up a lot of juice last night against Bama and played well. I watched them some earlier and their defense struggled. We have bye week afterwards and face UGA where we will be underdogs....but just remember strange things happen in college football...ask Oklahoma about Iowa State.

I agree. But that's life as a fan. I was supporting them for Tebow's national championships, I was there supporting them through 4-8, I'm there supporting them through their attempts to get through playing with one arm tied behind their back this season.
I hate it, but they're my team, my coaches, etc. and I want them to be successful.

Its not that we lost on a bad hold, we lost for many reasons that led up to that
1. Slow start on offense.. again
2. Defensemot respecting their jet motion, never in my life have I seen a team not react and rotate over with it as its soul purpose is to gain a man to the other side.
3. Our wrs were non existent, if Cleveland cant go we re fricked.
4. A dropped pick 6 and two other ints that we didnt get
5. Where was our Dline? They rotated freshman on their right side and i never saw us take advantage except 1 or 2 times

Didn't say I didn't think that. They've brought in pieces and now it's time to trust them to play. They don't trust them and it's perplexing

Has our team ever gotten better during the season under Mac? Why would you expect us to get better this year? Prepare yourself for a bunch of losses.

It hasn’t been fun for a while. I told my wife after the game it’s not about Nuss or recruiting or the pre game meal or whatever reason you want to include.
The bottom line is Florida will never be a perennial top 5 program with this coach.

^ If you are a 5* recruit. Each SEC coach comes into your living room. Which HC would inspire you to want to go to their school? Where would you put butter teeth, Gomer Pyle clone? He'd be at the near bottom of the list. Kids are coming to Florida in spite of our coach.

What's a true fan? One that can't tell the truth? One that is use to mediocrity and losing? I use to care about UF football but the last decade has made me, like many ambivalent. I'd love nothing more than for UF to always win but I don't hold my breath. I played in the 80's and it was never as frustrating as this shite show.
Can you dispute what I wrote? Do you really think Mac is winning recruits over with his intellect? His wit or his shiny smile? That is not disrespect, it's the damn truth.
