Rumor about UF debuting a new helmet.

I've seen this posted around some other places. Thought I would give y'all a heads up. Rumor that for the blueout were gonna be blue head to toe with a new helmet. The helmet is nothing really crazy its just the current helmet with the colors reversed. Found a pic(don't worry the uni in the pic isn't gonna be worn).

I've heard that were wearing white helmets. I think that's more likely than Blue helmets. There may be special uniforms too but who knows. It's all rumors. We'll find out on Saturday.

People will bitch about blue. I don't care just win the game.
It does look weird to me though.

Man I hope they don't go back to the 09 white helmets, those things were awful.

I like the helmut and jersey on the pic.
I also like the white helmut. Being a product of the 1960s as a teen...I watched many games with Gators in white helmuts. I really liked the 1965 helmut with F inside a blue circular logo....and of course in 1964 and 1966 we used a plain F a lot. The 1960-62 helmuts and unis were very plain Penn Stateish in design. When we played Penn State after 1962 season our helmuts were adorned with rebel flag to signify we were a southern school and they were yankees.

I like it a lot actually. I wouldn't mind going all blue though think it would be pretty cool.
And am I the only one who wants to see the Gators wear black just once...I freaking love black jersey's ;/

Another benefit of these new unis is the cutting down on interceptions thrown by us very colorful.
