Anyone who says it's normal to struggle against Vandy should be fired immediately.

Vandy has a salty defense. They arent as bad of a team as some think...when you realize their academic standards and very poor budget in the "Athletic Dept" which is almost a joke. The offense is mediocre but Mason tries to keep games close and then let his defense try to steal one.
Some "fans" just arent happy if we dont blow out teams by 50 points and even then they'd find something to bitch about.
I for one wasnt happy with our offense today Its obvious LDR doesnt have the arm to throw long...he will underthrow a lot. While he is our starter....the weaker arm isnt a matter of rust....he just doesnt have the velocity or long range that we need sometimes. He shouldnt be asked to throw long. Or forbidden to.
With more reps he will be better at the short to intermediate range passes...but teams are stacking the line against us. The OL is just so out of whack right now and they should be better. Its not pretty right now to say the least.
The best news is that UT got their azzs handed to them and have 2 Ls. But if our OL doesnt play better we are gonna face two very tough road games in Arkie and LSU. Our defense is the thing keeping me optimistic.
